Every summer my hips are skinned raw from going down on my bike. You'd think after 22 years of mountain biking I'd learn how to keep my balance. The Fox Racing Launch Bike Short protect the goods--from hip to knee.

These Fox shorts are a perfect combination of light to moderate protection (have no illusion that these are downhill/big hit adequate, they're not) for us CC and all-mountain trail rider guys and gals. They add a layer of padding in critical areas by don't restrict movement or get in the way. These also turn any board short into a MTN bike short by wearing them under them. Bottom line is they'll keep you from getting bruised up in light to moderate tip overs and lessen the hurt in a big one. I bought three sets and they launder well in the delicate cycle and I hang them to dry.I bought size large and I wear waist size 34 560 brand Levis if that helps with sizing.

These really rock. Definitely a good low-cost high-value short; very comfortable and quite protective of ye ole junk.
