I wore this shirt as a base layer 4 days straight during an urban winter outing in Detroit. It regulated temperature when moving from inside to out. The tight fit helped keep me warm, and the excellent wool kept me stink-free the entire time even after sweating it up in some over-heated buildings.

This thing is a fantastic base-layer, and sparked a whole new interest in wool clothing for me. I've worn it as a base-layer on the mountain and in a flag-football game in the rain... and it never failed. I was never cold, it amazingly regulated my body temperature, dry or soaked, and it doesn't get funky like the man-made fabrics do. A great product!

I like its athletic cut, I like that it isn't itchy (though I don't wear it as a base layer- I put it over a capilene medium crew), I like that it's light, and I like that it's a natural material. All that said - this shirt is VERY warm. If you're going to be active, don't wear this unless it is very, very cold out. I live and play in Vermont and I wouldn't wear this for an aerobic activity if it were more than 10 degrees.
