I don't splurge often but I'm glad I did for this. I was looking for a light weight mid layer for under my soft shell. This works perfectly. The outer material is stretchy to allow for a tighter fit, while the inner material is fleece for comfort/warmth. It's so comfortable that I often forget to take it off. It could be worn as an outer layer to in extremely mild conditions but probably works best as a base/mid layer.I'm 6 ft 175lbs athletic build. Large fit perfectly.

This is a great shirt. Very comfortable, soft against the skin and warm. The fit is snug, since it really is a baselayer. I wear it alone around town, not to show off (cause I'm a little pudgey) but because it's so comfy. Besides, the wife likes it, so it's a win-win situation. It keeps it's shape even after not washing it for several days. One of the detail pictures shows the sleeves with a strechy fabric at the wrists, but that must have been for an earlier model because the two I have don't have it - the sleeve is the same for the whole length except for just tapering down. The price is a little high, but did I mention how comfy it is?! Remember when you were in high school, and you had your favorite 'dirt-shirt' you wore all the time, which annoyed your mom and kept patching it up becaue you didn't want to get rid of it?
