I wear these to work and to play in the snow (or both if I have to go up north to a wind farm). They are great at wicking moisture and keeping you warm. The claims of keeping smell away are true, but for some reason it doesn't take effect until a few hours after I've had the sock off. Maybe sweat is still in them for a while.Only downfall is they get kind of "fuzzy" after being washed, and one pair turned red on the bottom after being worn with my brown dress shoes; something that has never happened to any of my other socks. Definitely buy any smartwool socks you see pop up on SAC or TD!

Bought these socks because I needed a new pair of socks for snowboarding. They are warm comfy and provide enough cushion in the areas where needed. I dont like thick socks because they make my boot fit too tight. These are just right. They stay in place and dont bunch up inside my boot leaving a comfortable fit all day. As soon as I saw these on SAC I grabbed three pairs so I dont have to worry about having dirty socks on multi-day snowboarding trips. These socks arent just for skiing, work great for snowboard boots too.

Invest in your warmth and comfort...I buy 3 pairs of these every time they pop up on SAC. Worth it!
