Carries up to a 35" spare tire, and features a quick release for fast and easy installation and removal. Lockable with a separately obtained padlock.

This Yakima spare tire carrier ROCKS! We put it on our 98 Jeep GC. Mounted it to Yakima's aftermarket roof rack. The tire is originally mounted on the cargo area of the 98's, so putting the tire up top really freed up a lot of cargo space to haul more stuff! Carrier is very strong and well-made as are all Yakima products, VERY HAPPY!

This spare tire carrier is well designed and well made. I was especially pleased because I was able to easily adapt it to fit my MINI cooper roof-rack luggage carrier. It works very well the spare tire is held securely and I can even lock it.
