The North Face Mountain 25 Tent - 2-Person 4-Season description

Engineered to withstand the extreme wind and snow loading on high-altitude adventures, The North Face Mountain 25 two-person tent keeps you warm and dry as you hunker down for the night. The North Face's lift technology uses an upper level vent which enables the four-season Mountain 25 Tent to lift slightly as the wind blows. That way, you can sleep soundly without feeling like you're being blown sideways off the mountain. While you're sealed inside, the Mountain 25 allows you to peek out and check the weather through a durable polyurethane window. And should you come stumbling into camp in the dark, The North Face thoughtfully included reflective guyline loops, guylines, and glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls for setup ease under a new moon.

Review by Travel 2 Latin America

Review:Review of North Face Mountain 25 Tent - 2-Person 4-Season We use North Face tents on the Inca Trail in Peru with our clients. This is a very demanding environment and of course it is more difficult because the tents get very rough use from so many people. We needed the most durable tents possible due to the extreme use by a lot of clients. It can get very cold on the Inca Trail and we needed both durability and warmth for two people. For this reason we chose the North Face Mountain 25 tent and we are very glad we did. It has met all of our expectations. Despite heavy use, our mountain guides have not reported any tears in the tents so far.The Inca Trail demands a lot of stamina and we recommend that people train with a lot of walking before coming. Dan Young:

This tent kept me going along the Kungsleden in the winter of 2007 (www.i907.net). Rock solid stability, a bit odd to setup solo though when your cold. I never had any problems with the tent. It was very easy to spot at night with all it's reflective lines. Plenty of space for one person and gear or two people. Snow anchors help tremendously if your camping in high wind. I recommend getting the footprint as well.

Mountain 25
matt 2279:

This tent is ideal for base camp situations where you can get it set up right and leave it. This isnt a tent that you want to set up and tear down alot. The fly, and the ventilation system relys on the stakes alot, so if you plan to camp in the snow make sure you bring plenty of snow anchors. I am 6'-0" and the length of the tent is just right. If you are taller then that you might have some issues. If you can get all of the anchors to hold this tent is bomb proof, and holds up to all weather situations. It is heavy, but like the other reviews say, the protection is worth it.
