Crazy Creek Crazy Crib w/ Tarp description

Dream of working in the hammock division but worry about rain? The Crazy Creek Crazy Crib w/ Tarp has you covered in the most literal sense possible. This awesome combo works great as a set, and both hammock and tarp are good on their own, too. The Crib is a portable hammock that's small enough to carry with you in a daypack and sets up easily with adjustable webbing straps, a blessing for all you knot-impaired folks. The included Crazy Tarp (this is, by and large, a crazy deal on a crazy setup and therefore crazy) has enough guy-out points to let it stretch out fully regardless of the local flora configuration, crazy though it may be. Together or separate, the Crazy Crib w/ Tarp set makes a great addition to any campsite or backyard you'd be crazy to pass up.

Good sleep, easy setup
aljohnson32210002:

It was easy to setup, comfortable, and no slipping from the straps. I brought it on a week long backpacking trips and had no problems, even used the outer layer as a bug-shield (although of course you've have some condensation problems), but it worked. The tarp isn't as durable as I would have liked (small tears from drying on a rock), but for the price, it works fine!

Worth it's weight in your pack
Brian R:

I just got back from the BWCAW this week, and we packed the hammock for the trip. It made a great chair. If you lie down, the sides come up and obstruct your view. If you're wanting to sleep in it, it's great. If you're wanting to hold a conversation with others in the camp, it's a little hard. That said, I'm glad I bought it, and I plan on bringing it on future trips.

Crazy Crib w/Tarp - Good sleeping....
Robin Coolidge:

The webbing straps on the Crib grabbed the trees pretty well, some slipping when I got in. Lots of tie-out points make fly easy to adjust. A night in the rain and the top and bottom of my bag were a little damp (setup experience will solve). The Crib is not a net, and it is almost as if the hammock was folded over on itself, there are actually two layers of material. Lift up the top layer, get in, and then you can either push the top layer aside, or use it to keep the bugs off, or as a windbreak. At a little over three pounds it is heavier than I would like. Water does not drain, so if you do get wet you are going to lie in a puddle of water. All in all, for the price, this is a great setup.
