Sierra Designs Origami 2 UL Shelter - 2 Person description

The Sierra Designs Origami 2 UL Shelter provides lightweight, easy-to-pitch, versatile shelter whether you're headed out for a spur of the moment summer backpacking trip or just need some shelter on the sidelines of your Ultimate tournament.

Bottom Line: Give me shelter.

does what is expected
Josh:

This is really more of a "shaped" tarp then a tent. You'd best use it with a good size (and light weight) ground cloth. It can be pitched with 1 trekking pole and made quite taught with a bit of work or you can string a support line from an over head branch or sapling. It has a lot of floor space. Light enough for 1 person to carry and accommodate all the gear.It sets up very quickly. I have had it on the AT in the very early spring and with warm bags it's fine. It will definitely collect a lot of condensation however. We took it on a kayaking trip along the Potomac during the summer and it held up to the afternoon thunder showers extremely well. You do want to put seam sealer at the various guy line ties. With some good stakes, guylines and a good ground cloth it's a good shelter for go lite types.Worth the price
