Bottom Line: The smallest two-person cookset around.

I used a Jetboil for the first time last weekend on a gear check for the PCT. Its a great stove combo. The extra cup makes it very convenient for two people. Its very fast at boiling and worked well in the rain.

This Jetboil works too well. I'm not able to cook with it on full blast. I usually end up burning stuff. Even when burnt, cleanup is easy.

was not impressed with this stove. The ignition electrode is surrounded by a thin piece of porcelain that breaks and has to be lit with a lighter. The neoprene melts on the cup when there is no wind. All you can cook is water and its hard to clean. I would stick with a different container stove

Plain and simple: Jetboil rules! This thing is light, fast, durable, easy to clean, easy to repair. The wife and I love em!!!!!

The Jetboil performs quite well. What I like best is the how compact it is and the coffee press you can get for it. You can fit the gas canister, burner and heat exchanger, coffee press and the pot support and stability kit all into one cup. It is quite energy efficient and relative fast, but I must admit that I now would rather have bought the MSR Reactor Stove after seeing how well it performs...much faster, more fuel efficient and silent and almost as compact. These stoves are in my opinion mainly for heating water so I don't see the need for a companion cup. For the gourmet cook I would recommend another stove even if you can use the group cooking system or some other pot.
