I wanted to get a pair of glasses that are in fashion big but something I could still be active in for everyday use. This style is a great mix for both!

these are a great, universally flattering pair. not too big that you look like a nicole ritchie wannabe but big enough to shade your eyes completely and keep you from squinting. I've worn them for running in and they work well, but would not be good for cycling. I mostly like these just for around town but they work in a pinch for sports.
