I spend the majority of my workshift on my feet with 25 pounds of gear on my body. I spent today with the Yaktrax insoles replacing my green Superfeet. The Yaktrax insole has a bubble (for lack of a better term) in the middle of the arch support area. This immediately caused me discomfort. I recall when I first used Superfeet and it was instant relief and the superfeet had smoother contours. The stiffness of the Superfeet is was what solved my pronation problems. The Stable Trax insoles are softer at the heel and ball than Superfeet. I still found the support better than stock insoles, but I am going to put them into my casual shoes... Not my running shoes or my work boots. The other reviewer probably just has differently shaped feet than me.

Bought these to replace the stock insoles in my backpacking boots. My old insoles would give me sore feet within 6 or 7 miles dayhiking. I went 18 miles this past weekend with 35lbs and both feet felt as good at the end of the day as they did in the morning. The insole wicked perspiration from my feet and provided excellent heal and forefoot cushioning. Would definitely recommend if your stock insoles are just not cutting it and you can't afford to buy the nice Superfeet insoles.

After YEARS of using both green and orange Superfeet, which are supportive but are like walking barefoot on concrete, I picked up the Stable Trax and pounded out a 13.5 mile hike. COMFORT AND SUPPORT! These are winners! Normally foot pain is my limiting factor on hikes, but just a tiny bit of soreness instead of my usual excrutiating pain with Superfeet on my first hike with Stable Trax. No going back to Superfeet for ME.
