CamelBak's Hydration Pack Cleaning Kit makes it easy for you to clean out that mossy stuff growing in your water reservoir.

I haven't used the cleaning tablets yet, but the new plastic pieces to help dry the reservoir are designed much better than what I had before (some sort of foldable plastic tree that fit inside; also made by CamelBak). The tube brush does the job, although it can be a little challenging to push the brush all the way to the end. I still can't get the tube to dry on the inside, especially when keeping it attached to the reservoir, as pictured in the instructions for this cleaning kit.

Works...How bout a old hanger and Kitchen spoon to hold the bladder open. Baking soda and hot water.

I left some Emergen-C water in my camelbak and didn't like the left over taste. The cleaning tablets got rid of that, and the tube brush was easy enough to use. The water tastes much better now.

I bought this to clean the inside of the tube because I had some gatorade and it got sticky. The big brush worked fine. The "worm" brush is a pain to get through the tube if the inside is sticky like in my situation. The cleaning tablet worked alright but failed to clean up the Gatorade.Bottom line: Don't put sweetened beverages in the CamelBak.

To avoid ingesting the green slime left in your camel back from last month's trip you have to clean it out good. We've all done it: Retunred home from some epic adventure and tossed all your gear in a pile intending to clean it up tomorrow... after work... seriously... I'll get to it Tuesday... or Wednesday. The little hanger works great for drying. I tried to make one of my own using an old plastic hanger, but it doesn't quite spread the walls apart to allow it to dry properly. This is a good kit!
