I love doing big climbs on the road bike and this makes it so I don't sound like I'm exaggerating to my cycling pals. I have the 305 with HR monitor and cadence and those parts were kind of spotty on how well the work, but the gps itself is awesome.

I'm amazed at how well the GPS function works. It detects satellites inside my home which is better than my old Garmin Vista. It's consistently within 0.05 percent of my bike computer so I trust the accuracy.I'm not sure about the problem the reviewer Skelty had, but I've interfaced the unit with three other computers without any problems and can download my progress. I can see how I've improved over the same route, or see how my progress is slowed by a head wind. It also works well for day hikes to show your path and record speed and miles. The only issue for hikes is that the battery life is limited to one day.
