The Highgear Aerial Altimeter Watch will satisfy any info-craving backcountry nut. With a simple touch of a button, the Aerial displays your rate of ascent/descent, the temperature, and how high you areis in altitude, not how many safety meetings you've had in the woods. This Highgear altimeter watch is accurate to within three feet and works up to 30,058ftjust in case you want to see if the pilot's lying. During hut trips, a log book tracks all altitude readings for 10 days, and for summit pushes, preset the altitude alarm to the height of your escape couloir so you don't miss it in a whiteout. Track the weather with the barometer and thermometer, and wake up in time for sunrise with two daily alarms. Water-resistant to 50m and weighing only 1.7oz, the Aerial altimeter is ready for serious use in the vertical landscape.

Bottom Line: A hyper-accurate altimeter for the altitude junkie.

Works great, though the buttons are easily bumped. Needs calibration often during the day, but as this is my first altimeter, I'm not sure if this is normal.
