These gloves are killer and fit the bill for cold back country days or bluebird spring days. The removable inner gloves are a sweet extra deal.

i purchased these in the underglove thinking i would like them better then the over gloves. later i found out that i do perfer my overgloves vs undergloves. the gloves are great they are warm and stay dry. i like my gloves to be tighter i could have gone with large but stuck with the med.

These gloves are awesome! They kept my fingers warm and dry all day even though the finger tips of the gloves froze solid (and I wasn't even using them with the removable inner gloves). I went a bit hard on the leather but it came back to good condition with a bit more Nikwax.

These are great gloves. They come with a little packet of weather-proofing wax that you apply to the leather surfaces of the glove (the palm, finger undersides, and fingertips) and let dry for about 12 hours. Then you wipe of any excess and you're good to go. Size XL fit as expected. The liner is quite nice enough to wear "around the lodge" but they can be easy to lose since they don't attach to the glove in any way (just be careful not to drop the liners). I originally bought the more expensive "AK 3L Glove" but was not as impressed. I think these are better for most people. These may not be *quite* as absolutely waterproof and warm under the coldest cold, but these look better on your hand, and these are actually a little roomier. They kept my hands nice and warm in 15-degree (farenheight) slopes in Alberta, Canada. I have them in both the brown and black colorways. Highly recommended.
