you get what you pay for
snowboarding femme:

I've had these bindings for the 07-08 winter season. They've worked well until now, after my 10th run with them. The latches on one binding has come loose and I've tried to hook the wire back on, but there's not enough wire to withstand the latch action that you do when strapping/unstrapping the bindings to your boots. In other words, the latches don't bounce back to the strap. This may sound confusing, sorry, because I don't really know what to call those pieces that got loose. The problem is quite an inconvenience and I had hoped that I had paid more for better bindings. I suggest you spend a little more for yours unless you plan to use them for only one season.As far as getting them to fit on my board, it does take effort to put them on my burton board and I've had to tighten the screws after every two or three days on the slopes. This may be an issue with bindings in general (I don't go through a lot of bindings).

cheap=not so good

I also had the same problem with the base plates--it took a lot of maneuvering to get them to fit on my board. This should have been the first clue that these bindings are not so great. I had several other problems with them, as well. The front straps ripped after just a few uses. To K2's credit, they sent me replacement straps fairly quickly--but these ripped, too! (I think they are probably not made to withstand being strapped across the front of your foot, despite the fact that they are advertised as "universal." You can't just make a claim, K2--you need to make a product to support it!) My final complaint is that the release on the straps often sticks, and I often spend far too long at the bottom of a run trying to get my back leg out so I can get back in the lift line. Bottom line: I'd definitely recommend shelling out a few extra bucks for a better set of bindings. You won't be sorry.

bindings
polly:

These bindings are great, but the screws that came with them were not thick enough to go through the base plates. Also, sometimes the toe strap slips up onto my foot instead of staying down around my toes, but other than that, they're great bindings... and they look great.

Not a bad binding really
http://gear-review.blogspot.com:

beefed these up a bit for the 08-09 season. I did not test these out on a board, but at the demo day last spring where we were testing the new stuff these looked better than last years bindings. I demoed last years charm and wasn't unimpressed but wasn't not impressed. I would consider these more freestyle, beginner to intermediate.overall it is what you pay for. As far as other reviews saying the binding doesn't bounce back. I have run into this problem on all of my Burton bindings also. ratchets are easy to replace. and as far as screws not staying in. If you are on a different brand's board they may have a little different threading in the holes. Get some "lock tight" and that will help hold screws in also. over all I would get these bindings for my sisters set-up. price point and in the range of her ability.
